Information We Collect
When you create an account and use Retadose, we collect:
- Account credentials — your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Dose log entries — the date, time, and amount (in mg) of each dose you record.
- Check-in responses — your answers to structured symptom and well-being check-ins.
- Vial inventory — vial concentration and volume data you enter for tracking purposes.
- Notification preferences — your push notification subscription and email reminder settings.
We do not collect location data, device identifiers, browsing history, or any information beyond what you explicitly enter into the application.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Calculate your pharmacokinetic concentration curve and dose suggestions
- Display your dose history, check-in trends, and vial inventory
- Send you dose reminders and check-in notifications (if you opt in)
- Authenticate your account and protect against unauthorized access
Data We Do Not Sell
We do not sell, rent, license, or share your personal data with any third party — not advertisers, data brokers, pharmaceutical companies, or anyone else. We never sell your health data. Period.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in an encrypted database on a private server. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All connections to Retadose use HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit). We follow standard security practices including CSRF protection, rate limiting, and session management.
Data Export
You can export a complete copy of your dose history and PK curve data at any time from the Settings page. The export is designed to be shared with your prescriber to support informed dosing decisions.
Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all dose logs, check-in data, vial records, and account credentials are permanently removed from our systems.
Analytics
Retadose uses Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage patterns (page views, visit counts). Umami does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and does not track individual users across sessions.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Retadose after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
